On Saturday I had the privilege of meeting up with some fantastic photographers at the Gateway Community Church in Draper Utah, for some in depth “exposure” to studio lighting. We had numerous sets, focusing on everything from natural light and one or two light setups with beauty dishes, reflectors etc. to complex multi-light strobist styles, a cosmic ray gun, and even a Trampoline set up. Yes – a trampoline. The group putting this whole event on is Photowalking Utah, and they are one of the premiere photography groups in Utah. I think we had close to 200 people in attendance. For photos from the event, and even a photo of me upside down, check out the flickr group site for Photowalking Utah.
The next Photowalking Utah event is in two weeks – a midnight full moon stroll through the evergreens in Millcreek Canyon. Go check out their website or the flickr group for more details.
